Foursquare for Android gets NFC support
Foursquare has updated its Android support to include support for NFC features included in Android 4.0. The popular location sharing app lets users check into a location by simply tapping their devices against a tag at a compatible location.
The updated app lets users exchange lists and add friends via NFC Beam which is a special feature of Ice Cream Sandwich. While the new features are only supported on the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S at the moment , the list of devices is expected to increase as more phone running Android 4.0 and supporting NFC are released.
