Airtel has launched Comedy FM, a new VAS (Value added Service) for mobile customers. This would offer jokes, fillers, standup comedy acts to humourous excerpts from sitcoms. Airtel customers can now dial 52747 to subscribe to Comedy FM to get daily dose of humour from Comedy Circus, FIR, Office-Office, Lapatagunj. Rangeela Raju and much more!

Comedy FM is a IVR service and is available at Rs 2/day and 2paise/sec browsing charges. Users can access help and unsubscribe option for the service from the settings section.

Vodafone has launched new Sabarimala pack for the customers in Tamil Nadu. This would let the customers avail 30 minutes of free-calling and access to special services such as caller tunes, ringtones, trivia and stories of sabarimala. They would also receive information on Sabarimala and Lord Ayyappa through daily SMS alerts.

To subscribe, customers can dial 5670309 or SMS ACT SAB to 144 or dial *567* 946#. This pack is available for both postpaid and prepaid customers of Vodafone in Tamil Nadu. The activation charge is Rs. 30 for the pack and Rs 15 for downloading each callertune.

This service is valid till 15th January, 2012 and it would be deactivated automatically from 16th January, 2012.

Idea Cellular has launched a special tariff voucher for this festive season for the prepaid customers in Uttar Pradesh East. This tariff voucher would offer free local minutes that would let you talk to your loved one on any mobile or land line in UP and Uttarakhand.

The Rs. 35 voucher would offer 100 free local minutes that could be used to call any local mobile or land line in UP and Uttarakhand. The tariff would be valid for 7 days from the date of recharge. The new Special Tariff Voucher is available at all retail outlets, My Idea Showrooms and Idea Points in UP East circle.

Vodafone has introduced audio conferencing service for the business customers, so that they could connect to multiple contacts easily through a phone call from a mobile phone or land-line. There are also several range of audio conferencing services to choose from, according to their business needs.

This is a reservation less service, so that there is no need of relying on an operator and it is also automated, so that you could make a reservation through phone or email to schedule the conference with the conference pass code and share the code to other participants.
The operator assistance are also offered, so that they notify the participants before the conference begins and can also screen the number of participants with a list provided.

Vodafone has introduced a new offer called ‘Chillarai Recharge’, for its Tamilnadu prepaid customers. This lets the shopkeeper offer you recharge instead of change while doing an Easy Recharge.‘Chillarai Recharge’ comes in two denominations such as Re 1, that offers 10 minutes of local Vodafone night calls within network and Rs 2, that offers 20 minutes of local Vodafone night calls within network.

These packs are valid for a day and night timings are from 10 pm and 8 am.
