HTC Flyer 32GB , 3G version Price Drops to Rs.23900 !

htc flyer india

When HTC launched the 3G+WiFi of it’s 7 inch Android tablet in India for Rs.39890 in June this year , we were immensely disappointed about the price tag. It was an impressive tablet with decent battery life. Now if you gave the Flyer a pass for the same reason, good news for you. The price of the tablet has been cut by almost 50%. It has now available for Rs.23900 on Flipkart and Rs.23990 on LeysBuy. Some retailers are still selling it at around Rs.35000.

Just to let you know HTC launched the Flyer at Mobile World Congress in Feb 2011. We are barely a couple of months away from MWC 2012 and we might see a new version of the Flyer at the event. So the Flyer might be reaching End-Of-Life soon.

But how many of are interested to pick up a Flyer at Rs.23900 ?

T-Mobile UK launching HTC Flyer, coming soon this month

We recently got our hands on the HTC Flyer which is an amazing and versatile Android powered tablet. It’s currently available in USA, UK and several other countries. It is offered by Sprint in USA and some retailers and few carriers are offering it in UK and now another UK carrier is getting ready to launch the HTC Flyer in UK and it’s T-Mobile. T-Mobile has officially added the HTC Flyer on their Coming Soon page and it’s due this month so probably you will see it later this month. HTC Flyer is an expensive tablet and don’t expect it free on tablet as 3-UK is offering it for £169 on contract, so expect almost the same price tag.

HTC Flyer will pack the Magic Pen which is actually for free in UK. It’s an amazing accessory and makes the Flyer experience way better. It’s not a dual-core tablet like other tablets in market these days but trust me, Flyer runs so smoothly and fast on a single-core 1.5 GHz processor.

So any of our reader getting one from T-Mobile UK?

HTC Flyer hitting T-Mobile USA?

HTC Flyer is an amazing product and I recently reviewed it and I told you that it’s a good tablet but the price tag is not so comfortable. Well, at the moment HTC Flyer is only available in Wi-Fi version in USA and Sprint is gearing up to launch the 4G version which is known as EVO View 4G. Now it looks like 3G version of HTC Flyer is hitting USA and T-Mobile USA will be carrying it because Flyer just landed at FCC with T-Mobile 3G bands. Hopefully, we will see this tablet soon in the USA and if you are expecting that this version will also feature some 4G speeds (HSPA+), then nothing related to this is mention in FCC documents, so let’s wait for it. There is no difference between the hardware of 3G and Wi-Fi version, only difference is that 3G version comes with a SIM-slot.

It will also feature the Magic Pen, and I think it will be included in the package and you don’t have to pay separately, as with Wi-Fi version, you have to buy it separately for $80. HTC Flyer is not a dual-core tablet but trust me, the tablet works fine and smooth without a dual-core processor. Anyway, let’s wait for this new Android 2.3 tablet to hit T-Mobile. No words on the price and release date at the moment.

So who’s planning to get one from T-Mobile, anyone?
