Adobe Flash would be available for the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich by the end of 2011, according to Pocket-lint who has confirmed it with Adobe. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus that was announced last month with Android 4.0 doesn’t come with Flash player. This would let the Samsung Galaxy Nexus users and other users who receives the Android 4.0 in near future would get full web experience. But the Android 4.0 would be the last version of the Android that would come with Flash support. RIM has announced recently that they would continue to develop Flash Player for the BlackBerry PlayBook.
Adobe announced earlier this month that they would stop development of flash for mobile phones and tablets and concentrate on bringing new features for the Flash Player for desktop browsers. Adobe released an update for the Flash Player for Android recently that came with lots of bug fixes. They would continue to provide bug fixes in future but not add any new features.
They would continue to develop Adobe AIR for both the desktop and mobile phones that is used for creating feature rich mobile applications.

SkyDrive App For iPhone, Android, Windows And Mac Coming Soon?
SkyDrive, which is part of Microsoft’s Windows Live suite, is a service that allows users to store files online and share them with themselves or others. This can only be done officially through a web interface, yet there’s speculation that Microsoft might soon release a SkyDrive client for desktop and mobile platforms.

According to a report, Microsoft is working on bringing a SkyDrive client to a multitude of platforms, such as Windows, Android, iOS and even Mac OS X. While no sources within Microsoft were cited, a recent job posting by the company reveals its interest in developing “SkyDrive client applications”:
We are looking for developers that are looking for their next challenge to build the highly distributed platform and multi-platform clients for the SkyDrive suite of products delivered through Windows Live and Windows.
Indeed, this job requires skills in a diverse range of programming languages, ranging from Objective-C to Java. Since Microsoft is likely just beginning the development of whatever might become of SkyDrive, it’s quite unclear as of yet what the SkyDrive client will include, yet we can speculate that Microsoft could be looking into directly competing with Dropbox, which is very popular cloud based storage service, by integrating SkyDrive right into Windows Explorer and Finder on the Mac, rather than just create a standalone client application. On mobile devices, Microsoft has the chance to innovate by integrating its file storage service deeply into Windows Phone 7 instead of just creating a standalone app.
Currently, there are workarounds (which we have featured in the past) that allow SkyDrive to be somewhat integrated into Windows Explorer, although these methods don’t integrate with SkyDrive’s features, such as control over permissions, making it almost essential to log into SkyDrive’s website to manually adjust them. In order for Microsoft’s official solution to work, all the features that can be found on the web version of SkyDrive must be replicable on the client.
The timing makes sense: the web version of SkyDrive was overhauled a mere two months ago, built from the ground up using HTML5 technologies. With a strong web version that will certainly last for many months, if not years, it now makes sense for Microsoft to work harder on expanding the service: clients for as many platforms as possible might be the best way to go about it.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE coming soon with 1.5 GHz processor
Just a while back we had heard about Samsung confirming the Galaxy S II LTE, not it’s the time for the Galaxy Tab to go LTE. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has not even launched in all the countries yet and Samsung has already confirmed an LTE version of the same with spec upgrades and it will also be shipping with the latest Android 3.2 Honeycomb.

The Galaxy Tab will consist of a 1.5 GHz dual core processor, we think the same one inside the Galaxy S II LTE. It will also have a 3MP camera, WXGA (1280×800) display. The 8.9 LTE will be 8.6 mm thick and 455g in weight.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 will be launching soon, won’t this affect the sales of the original 8.9 which has already been shipped? Why would people want to buy a 1 GHz dual core device Tegra2 device when they can buy the new 8.9 tab with the latest 1.5 GHz processor? If you were thinking of buying the Galaxy 8.9 tab then wait for some time, Samsung will be unveiling the new tab as soon as August 29.

Rumor: Next iPad coming later this year, dubbed as iPad HD
Back in March, Apple officially launched the iPad 2 which is successor to the famous iPad. iPad 2 is an amazing tablet and it’s selling like hot cakes, and fortunately our Varun Krish was lucky to get one (check out the unboxing). iPad 2 is approximately 3 months old and now rumors are on the street that next iPad is coming soon. We recently heard that it will be out in Q4 2011 and it will feature a 5x better display than the current version, and probably it will be Samsung’s AMOLED display. Currently, Apple and Samsung are having some bad days as both recently filed a lawsuit against each other, so let’s see what happens.
We all know that Apple is planning to launch the next iPhone later this fall and now This is My Next is reporting that Apple will also launch a new iPad which will feature an unbelievable resolution of 2048 x 1536 and it will be known as iPad HD. It will be a “pro” version of the current iPad and will feature software like Final Cut or Aperture. Just like we have Macbook and Macbook Pro, so just like that iPad HD will be a pro and better version of iPad 2.
Take this rumor with a big grain of salt because it’s really hard to believe this one as Apple just launched a new one and it’s only few months old, and in past Apple never launched a successor to a device in the same year it was launched. iPad 2 is already selling well and I am sure if there is anything coming like iPad HD, it would also sell good because it’s Apple, and Apple fanboys buy the new Apple stuff with their eyes closed. It’s rumored that it will be out in October.
Anyway folks, this is just a rumor so don’t start saving money right now. I would like to wait for a leaked screenshot or for some official words from Apple. So don’t forget to share your thoughts with us in the comment box below.

Droid Bionic sign-up page now live, coming this summer

Droid Bionic was announced by Motorola at CES 2011 and they decided to redesign it because they weren’t satisfied with the design, and recently we saw leaked shot of it and the phone really looks promising. We recently reported that Verizon will be launching it on August 4th and it looks like the leaked information was true because Verizon Droid Bionic sign-up page is now up and you can now sign-up to get latest information about the Droid Bionic. Verizon is only telling us that it will be launched in summer but they didn’t tell us when, but as August 4th is the rumored date, my guess is that Verizon will be launching it in the first week of August. Droid Bionic is a dual-core device featuring a huge 4.5 Inch display with qHD resolution, and it will also come with new version of MotoBlur with some 3D effects.
Well folks, that’s all we know about the upcoming Motorola beast. You can sign-up here if you want to stay up to date with Verizon’s new flagship device. So who’s going to grab one later this summer or you already got your hands on the recently launched Verizon Motorola Droid 3?

EA games coming soon to Micromax phones as company inks deal with Nazara Technologies

Micromax has entered into a partnership with Nazara Technologies which is the exclusive partner for EA Games ( Electronics Arts) in India. EA is famous for games like Need for Shift , Fifa , Cricket and soon these games will be pre-loaded on Micromax phones.
Users will be able to play these games for free for 5 times after which they would have to purchase it outright for Rs.49 or Rs.99 depending on the game. The company is claiming to have support for operator billing and has managed to offer even a day pass for Rs.3 per day for a game. From the specs of Micromax phones, these games are mostly J2ME / Java games which were a craze few years back. Currently operators also offer similar games through their WAP portals but I’m not sure if they are compatible with Micromax phones. What do you think about this move by Micromax ?

T-Mobile UK launching HTC Flyer, coming soon this month
We recently got our hands on the HTC Flyer which is an amazing and versatile Android powered tablet. It’s currently available in USA, UK and several other countries. It is offered by Sprint in USA and some retailers and few carriers are offering it in UK and now another UK carrier is getting ready to launch the HTC Flyer in UK and it’s T-Mobile. T-Mobile has officially added the HTC Flyer on their Coming Soon page and it’s due this month so probably you will see it later this month. HTC Flyer is an expensive tablet and don’t expect it free on tablet as 3-UK is offering it for £169 on contract, so expect almost the same price tag.
HTC Flyer will pack the Magic Pen which is actually for free in UK. It’s an amazing accessory and makes the Flyer experience way better. It’s not a dual-core tablet like other tablets in market these days but trust me, Flyer runs so smoothly and fast on a single-core 1.5 GHz processor.
So any of our reader getting one from T-Mobile UK?

AT&T launching HTC ChaCha as HTC Status, launching in coming weeks
HTC ChaCha was announced by HTC at the Mobile World Congress and it’s a good looking, cute little device. Recently, it was leaked with AT&T branding and we told you that AT&T will be launching it soon. Now BGR is reporting that AT&T will be launching it in coming weeks, probably after one week and AT&T will launch it as HTC Status, it’s not confirmed though. ChaCha comes with Facebook integration and also a dedicated Facebook button. It’s a good device for teenagers who are looking for a device for their social network solutions. My guess is that AT&T will be launching it in July as their first ever device with deep Facebook integration. Sure, this device is a treat for all teenagers, no?
So anyone planning to get one from AT&T?
HP Opal 7-Inch WebOS coming out in August?
HP recently announced the TouchPad which is their first ever WebOS tablet. WebOS is an amazing operating system and a massive challenge to operating systems like Android and iOS. At the moment, Apple iPad is ruling the tablet world but that doesn’t mean others can’t try their luck. Android entered the tablet game last year, and Android tablets are not famous like Apple iPad but they are still growing gradually. HP TouchPad is here to take down both Apple iPad and Android but it’s not an easy task. So now it looks like HP is planning to increase their WebOS tablet army because we heard a few months ago that HP is working on a 7-Inch tablet and it was codenamed as HP Opal and we also heard that it will be out this September. Opal will feature a 7-Inch display with resolution of 1024×768 and its design and dimensions will be similar to Galaxy Tab. HP didn’t tell anyone about this tablet so far but now some more information is out about this upcoming tablet.
Taiwan Economic News is reporting that Inventec Corp. which is a major Taiwanese contract manufacturer of personal computers, they will be making tablets for HP, and orders for HP TouchPad are around 400,000-450,000 every month. They are further reporting that HP will also launch 7-Inch tablet sometime in August and Inventec will be making both of them. HP is also Inventec’s largest buyer of notebooks, so no wonder HP has chosen their trusted partner for the tablets too. Inventec is planning to ship more than 20 million notebook and tablets this year.
Hopefully, HP will soon reveal their next WebOS tablet probably in August, so who’s looking forward to it, anyone?
