Viewsonic ViewPad E70 ICS tablet and ViewPhone 3 Dual SIM Android smartphone announced

Viewsonic has unveiled a Android ICS tablet, ViewPad E7 and a Dual SIM Android smartphone, ViewPhone 3 at CES 2012. The ViewPad E70 comes with a 7-inch (800 x 600 pixels) display and is powered by 1GHz processor. It runs on the latest Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS. The E70 is a Dual SIM smartphone that comes with a 3.5-inch (480 x 320 pixels) capacitive touch display and runs on Android (Gingerbread) 2.3 operating system.
The Viewsonic ViewPad E70 has 4GB internal memory and has 32 GB expandable memory with microSD. It would offer 1080p HDMI output and has Wi-Fi support and a front-facing camera.

The Viewsonic ViewPhone 3 runs on 800Mhz processor ARM processor and has 5MP auto focus camera, WiFi, Bluetooth v2.1 , 512 MB RAM, expandable memory up to 32GB and 1500 mAh battery.
The Viewsonic ViewPad e70 is priced at US$169.99 and the ViewPhone 3 is priced at $279 and would be available in late Q1 2012.

HTC has announced HTC Rezound , the only phone in the United States with Beats Audio integration. It comes with 4.3-inch true HD 720p display and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) (Upgradable to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)). It works on Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network. It comes with 8MP auto focus camera with a f/2.2 and 28mm wide-angle lens with BSI sensor for better low-light performance and a 2MP front video calling camera. Amazon announced trio of Kindle e-readers
Amazon today announced a handful of new Kindle e-reader products, including the first ever Kindle with a colour display – the Kindle Fire.
Firstly, Amazon has lowered the barrier of entry once again with a new entry level Kindle. For $79, the WiFi-powered Kindle Button features a none-touch 6? e-ink display. It will be the first Kindle without a built-in QWERTY keyboard. The new Kindle Button will be available from today.
Next up is the $99 Kindle Touch. Like the Kindle Button, the Kindle Touch will not have a QWERTY keyboard. Instead text entry will rely on the infrared touchscreen similar to the technology used by Sony on their PRS e-readers. WiFi is included as standard. A 3G version is priced at $149. Both versions will be available from November.
Finally, Android has announced that it will be making its entry to the tablet market with the Kindle Fire. Priced at $199, the Kindle Fire will feature a 7? IPS display and dual core CPU. It will run on a fork of Android, and thus will be compatible with Android apps. The Kindle Fire will be compatible with a few Amazon services announced today, including the multimedia orientated Whispersync and Amazon Cloud Storage. It will ship from November.
The new Kindle devices are available for pre-order today.

HTC Raider 4G announced in Korea

HTC has announced a new 4G LTE device, HTC Raider 4G in Korea. The phone runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and has 4.5 inch touch screen, 1.5 GHz, Dual-Core processor and a 8MP auto focus camera with LED Flash. The prototype of the phone was already leaked as HTC Holiday for AT&T.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA neo V announced

Sony Ericsson today announced the XPERIA neo V, a new mid-range Android smartphone to its XPERIA range and successor to the XPERIA neo.
The Sony Ericsson XPERIA neo V will feature a 1 GHz Snapdragon MSM8255 processor, 3.7? LCD TFT display with Mobile Bravia Engine, 5 Megapixel AF camera with 720p HD video recording, front camera for video calling feature and HDMI-out feature. The neo V has the same ‘human curvature’ design as the XPERIA neo and Vivaz smartphones. It will be available in white, silver and blue gradient variants.
The XPERIA neo V will ship with Android Gingerbread 2.3.4 preinstalled, complete with Sony Ericsson’s Facebook Inside and Google Talk.
The XPERIA neo V will be made available from Q4 of this year. No pricing has been announced.

Nokia 100 and 101 Cheap Dual SIM phones announced

Nokia today launched a couple of cheap dual SIM phones in Nairobi , Kenya. Looks like finally realising the importance of Dual SIM phones eating it’s market share in the lower end.
In terms of specs the 100 packs a FM radio and a color display. The 101 in addition to the former supports MP3 playback and has a microSD card slot which supports cards upto 16GB. It has a really loud speaker with a rating of 103 phon
Both the phones will come with Nokia Life Tools in select markets and Nokia Money in India.
The price of these phones is about 30 USD for the Nokia 100 and 35 USD for Nokia 101 before taxes and subsidies. We expect the phone to come to India later this year for around Rs.1500-1600 which is considerably cheaper than the existing Dual SIM phones from Nokia in the market.

Nokia 700 Announced
Nokia just announced the Nokia 700 over at an event in Hong Kong. The Nokia 700 is said to be the smallest smartphone in the world and comes with a 3.2? nHD AMOLED display. The processor behind the scenes is a 1Ghz unit. The Nokia 700 runs on the Symbian Belle OS which was also announced today.
It is also the thinnest smartphone in Nokia’s portfolio at the moment. Looks quite good if i might say so ! The Nokia 700 is priced at $390 and is expected to ship soon. We’ll be bringing hands on with the device from the show floor shortly !

Nokia has announced Nokia 600 smartphone that runs on Belle and it claims that it is their loudest smartphone ever. Nokia 701 Announced

Nokia has just announced the 701 smartphone. It is a smartphone that follows Nokia’s new numbering system and runs on Symbian’s latest Belle version.

HTC EVO 4G+ Announced In South Korea

Yesterday, we posted the leaked pics and video of the HTC EVO 4G+ and now, the company officially unveiled the device at their website. HTC EVO 4G+ looks quite similar to the HTC EVO 3D, but it does not have a dual camera for 3D video recording, nor does it support 3D playback. AT&T HTC HD7S price and release date announced
Back at the CTIA, AT&T officially announced the HTC HD7S which is currently available at T-Mobile USA as HTC HD7. AT&T didn’t tell us when they will launch it, so folks who are looking forward for it are waiting from a long time now. Now AT&T officially announced via their Facebook page that they will launch this device officially on June 5th and it will go for $199.99. HTC HD7 is successor to the famous HD2, which is known as one of the best Windows Mobile devices out there. HD7S comes with a 4.3 Inch Super LCD display and that’s the only difference between AT&T and T-Mobile version of HD7. The display is huge, so if you are currently using a HD2, then using this device will not be a problem for you.
So folks, mark you calendars because June 5th is the day when you will be able to get your hands on the HD7S. So anyone getting it next week?
