Samsung Galaxy Nexus release date postponed till December

Validated by Samsung to Business Insider, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus has been delayed to December 8. Mums the word on the cost revelation, but let’s just say, it’s going to be a very merry Christmas.

Rumor has it that Verizon Wireless desired all the hype they can get for the gadget that may perhaps be obtainable on the most important shopping day of the year as they knew the device wouldn’t see daylight before the Black Friday weekend. Hence, they were unanswerable on a release date for the Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, and the most awaited device.

Theoretically, all three, Verizon Wireless, Samsung or Google aren’t late, cause no release date has ever been on the record. This precisely what happened to HTC’s Thunderbolt, on Verizon Wireless, as nobody ever quoted an apparent release date.

Apple Might Release 4G/4S Model Along with iPhone 5

Apple’s next generation iPhone/iPhone 5 is easily the most anticipated gadget this year. The launch date has been speculated numerous times but we still have no announcement so far. But latest rumours suggest October 4th as a more than likely day for Apple to hold an event and announce the next generation iPhones.

This time as rumours indicate, we should be able to see more than one iPhone. Firstly we have the iPhone 5 and then as the picture above indicates, we will see a cheaper/smaller iPhone 4G or 4S.

The picture above is the AT&T inventory list that clearly shows an iPhone 4G as well as cases for the iPhone 5. So this almost confirms the two iPhones rumour. But anyway we will get to know for sure in a few days.

We are hearing about the HTC Merge from last year and we have seen a lot of leaked screenshots of it, and HTC officially announced it back in February. As it’s a CDMA device, we were assuming that it will hit either Sprint or Verizon, and we first saw it with Verizon Wireless branding but it looks like the device is now going to hit US Cellular, because they officially announced it. Merge comes with Android 2.2, 3.8 inch display, side-sliding QWERTY keyboard, an 800MHz Scorpion processor, a 5 MP camera with flash and a lot of other stuff. If you want to buy one from US Cellular, then you will be able to get it for $149.99 with a 2-yr contact and $100 rebate. They are officially launching it on May 31st, so call your local US Cellular store to check availability before hitting the store.
