Apple to Launch iPad 3 With Retina Display, Quad-Core Processor And 4G LTE Support in March?
Bloomberg reports according to "three people familiar with the product", Apple will launch iPad 3 in March, which will come with a high-definition screen, run a faster processor and also work on 4G LTE networks. Bloomberg reports:
The company’s manufacturing partners in Asia started ramping up production of the iPad 3 this month and plan to reach full volumes by February, said one of the people, who asked not to be named because the details aren’t public. The tablet will use a quad-core chip, an enhancement that lets users jump more quickly between applications, two of the people said.
Bloomberg goes on to add:Apple is bringing LTE to the iPad before the iPhone because the tablet has a bigger battery and can better support the power requirements of the newer technology, said one of the people.
The new display is capable of greater resolution than the current iPad, with more pixels on its screen than some high- definition televisions, the person said. The pixels are small enough to make the images look like printed material, according to the person. Videos begin playing almost instantly because of the additional graphics processing, the person said.
As reported earlier in the week, Bloomberg also claims that the iPad 3 production started at the beginning of the month.
Apple is widely expected to launch iPad 3 with Retina Display. However, there has been contradictory rumors about the thickness of the next iPad. Some reports have claimed that it will be slightly thicker to accomodate the change in LED backlight design for iPad 3's Retina Display, while others insist iPad 3 will be thinner than iPad 2.
We really hope that this rumor of a iPad 3 with Retina Display, quad-core processor and 4G LTE support turns out to be true. What about you?

Rumor: iPad 3 to Sport Quad-Core Chip, LTE, HD Display
Apple's next-generation iPad will arrive in March packing a quad-core processor, LTE wireless functionality, and a new display with better resolution than you'll find on a lot of HD television sets, according to a report published Friday by Bloomberg.
The news agency cited three anonymous sources "familiar with the product" in its report. One told Bloomberg that Apple's Asian manufacturing partners had begun ramping up production of the next-gen tablet that's expected to be dubbed the iPad 3, with Foxconn, the main assembler of the device, running its factories 24 hours a day to get product shipped.
Sources also told the agency that the new iPad will sport a quad-core chip, which if true, would confirm a report first put out by 9to5Mac.com earlier this month. The Apple-watching blog discovered references to core management capabilities for quad-core processors buried within Apple's iOS 5.1 beta code.
What's more, "videos begin playing almost instantly" thanks to a boost in graphics processing horsepower as well, one source told Bloomberg.
There's already been a good deal of speculation that the iPad 3 will feature an upgraded display because there was no change on that front from the first-generation tablet to the iPad 2. Rumor had it last year that Apple's Taiwan suppliers were already shipping iPad 3 displays to the company in November.
Apple is supposedly getting on the LTE bandwagon with the iPad before the iPhone because it feels more comfortable running the new, power-hungry wireless tech on a device with a bigger battery, according to Bloomberg's sources.
As for the March release date, Apple characteristically isn't confirming or denying anything, but earlier rumors have placed the iPad 3's debut as soon as February.

Motorola Atrix 2 spotted sporting qHD display
The Motorola Atrix 2 , codenamed Edison, was recently spotted by The Verge. The phone was given a thorough hands on revealing a large 4.3? qHD display. The display ditches the pentile matrix panel resulting in much clearer text.
The phone does not seem to have the LTE chip which means that the network speeds will top out at HSPA+ . The processor running the show here is the dual core 1Ghz TI OMAP chip. The phone also has a single stage shutter key along the right side which should make taking photos with the 8MP camera a bit easier. The Android based smartphone will be available on AT&T later this year.

Just a while back we had posted a mysterious device with the model no. GT I9250 getting Wi-Fi certification, is that rumored device the Galaxy S II? We doubt it, as the model number of the 4.3? version is GT I9100 so this device will also have something related to that and not I9250. Well we need to wait for some more time to confirm this, but this device looks really great and the 1.5GHz processor coupled with 4.5? display really get’s me excited.

LG Announces Glass-Free 3D Display for Mobile Phones
LG is showcasing it’s new glass-free 3D display for mobile phones at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas.
LG states that it sees a tremendous growth potential for 3D displays and that it is looking to debuting this new exciting wy to watch movies and play games on mobile phones.
The 4.3″ Touchscreen has a WVGA resolution (854×480 Pixels). The technology also provides exceptionally bright and flicker free pictures.
The 3D display uses an applied parallax barrier, which delivers a series of light blocking slits attached to the front LCD panel. These slits ensure that the left and right eye see different images thus giving the illusion of 3D.
The display also has straighter, more upright barriers that are very precisely aligned to the LCD panel. This technological advance not only means smoother, brighter, crosstalk-free images, but also a wider viewing angle than on previous parallax displays.
