Sony Ericsson Arc hits USA, available unlocked via Sony

Xperia Arc was announced by SE at MWC which is  a good and attractive device. Michael Hell and Jonathan reviewed it and they were satisfied with it. We recently told you that it will be hitting USA soon and I guessed that it will hit AT&T but now Sony Ericsson is finally offering it in USA but they are offering the unlocked version and it’s available directly from Sony. This unlocked version can run on AT&T 3G and EDGE network and only on T-Mobile EDGE network. Sony is offering it for $599.99 and now you can order it as it’s in stock. If you don’t want to get stuck with a contract and looking for a good phone, then Arc isn’t a bad choice at all. I think in future, maybe it will be available on contract via AT&T or T-Mobile where it will probably cost you around $199.99 on contract, let’s see what SE is planning to do in future.

To refresh your memory, Arc comes with a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 4.2-inch capacitive screen with Sony mobile Bravia engine, and an 8-megapixel Exmor R camera with autofocus and LED flash, capable to record video in 720p HD video recording, and some other good features under the hood. So who’s planning to get one from Sony?

Motorola Triumph now available for pre-order at BestBuy

Virgin Mobile and Motorola recently announced the Motorola Triumph which is actually a high-end Motorola device for Virgin Mobile USA. On the announcement, Virgin Mobile didn’t tell us when they are actually launching it but recently an image was leaked which revealed it that they will be launching it on July 19. Well, still no words on when it’s officially coming out but now BestBuy is officially taking pre-orders for the Triumph and they are offering this device for $299 without contract and I think it’s a very good price for a device with some decent specs. But BestBuy is also hiding the release date and they added the Triumph in the “Coming Soon” list so you can expect it soon. Mostly retailers start taking the pre-orders 2 weeks before the official launch, so probably July 19 is the day when we will officially see this device.

So head-over to BestBuy and reserve your Motorola Triumph if you are impressed by it. So anyone looking forward to get one from BestBuy?
